Limelight People are working closely with clinics in the NT who are seeking Child Health Registered Nurses for both contracts and permanent roles
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, to provide and promote a culturally safe client focused comprehensive Primary Health Care (PHC) service with a particular focus on child health
- Deliver child health assessments for children under 5 including ASQ TRAK developmental assessment
- Facilitate and participate in opportunistic and community screening activities including general health care assessment and management, cycles of care, health promotion, prevention and developmental assessments. The Child Health Nurse will refer in consultation with the multidisciplinary team and in accordance with the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual and Women’s Business Manual protocols;
- Provide a focus on prevention, early detection and intervention of the health and well-being concerns of vulnerable infants, children and their families through an interdisciplinary and integrated service response;
- Promote Vaccinations
- ABOUT YOU
- Current AHPRA
- Have at least 3 years experience including previous experience in child health
- Certificate in child health is highly desirable
