I am in need of 2 Counsellors based in regional NSW for 3-6 Months.
This short term contract allows you to develop your skills further within Mental health. Working in a country town provides a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a different way of life and learn more about different communities, something which is seen positively by future employers.
Mental Wellbeing Counsellors provide consumer focused, goal oriented clinical care and targeted psychological interventions to consumers referred to the organisations Mental Wellbeing Program.
Demonstrated experience in undertaking comprehensive therapeutic mental health assessments and the development of treatment care plans in collaboration with consumers, and their family and carers is required.
Essential Criteria:
– 2+ years experience as a Counsellor.
– Professional Registration/Licence Requirements: dependent on qualification
– NSW Working with Children Check
– National Police Check
– Vaccination Category A
– Current Driver’s Licence
