Kate Heeligan is the Director and Co‑Founder of Limelight People’s Healthcare division. For over 20 years, she has been specialising in national workforce solutions, business development, and leading high‑performing recruitment teams. Working across metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote communities, Kate partners with public and private healthcare services, aged care providers, community organisations, and not‑for‑profit sectors to deliver strategic, sustainable workforce outcomes.
Known for her authentic, collaborative, and relationship‑driven approach, Kate is highly regarded for her ability to build trust, solve complex workforce challenges, and develop recruitment strategies that deliver real results. She is particularly experienced in supporting organisations facing workforce shortages, recruiting into hard‑to‑fill locations, and building robust talent pipelines. At her core, Kate is motivated by helping people succeed, whether that’s guiding healthcare professionals through career decisions, supporting clients to strengthen their teams, or mentoring her own consultants to grow with confidence. She is passionate about leadership, team culture, and the meaningful impact healthcare services have on communities across Australia. Outside of work, Kate enjoys keeping up with current affairs, healthcare trends, politics and global events. She takes a genuine interest in understanding the objectives and priorities of the people she works with and is known for her honest advice, thoughtful approach and commitment to building long-term relationships.
