Join a multi-disciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based healthcare for children & young individuals, supporting them in reaching their goals.
The Role
This is a fantastic paediatric-focussed role if you doing community work but the travel aspect is a pain. Your caseload is based in the Liverpool play-therapy clinic, and schools and childcare centres around the South West, West and Parramatta regions.
- Working within an interprofessional model to provide assessment and intervention that helps clients achieve their goals
- Delivering timely, well-documented reports with actionable recommendations for ongoing therapy planning
- Supporting paediatric clients across a variety of settings
- Empowering and enabling individuals, families, and carers to connect with both specialized and mainstream community services
The Benefits
- Salary Packaging: Boost your take-home pay through generous salary packaging options
- Not-for-profit environment: You are set reasonable targets and are not driven into the ground to hit them. Also, given that most of the work is done in batches at the clinic/childcare centre/school, it is so much easier to hit targets than if you were driving between each client
- Career: Structured professional development to align with your career aspirations, plus financial support for external education
- Work-Life Balance: Flexible options tailored to family needs, including school-hours-only roles, school-term-only schedules, and extended leave choices
- Fantastic Leave: 5 weeks annual leave, 3 weeks personal/carers leave, extended parental leave, and a celebration day
- Supportive Team: Join an established team under the leadership of a new experienced allied health clinician
- Wellbeing Focus: Complimentary access to a premium mindfulness app, EAP counseling, annual flu vaccinations, and wellbeing activities to enhance your workday
The Requirements
- A Speech Pathologist qualification with a minimum of one year of experience
- SPA registration
- A valid NSW driver’s license and access to a registered motor vehicle
- Eligibility to obtain a NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC), National Police Check and a Working With Children’s Check NSW
