This a 12-month daily rate contract for a Solution Architect based in Sydney or Melbourne
Responsibilities:
- Lead solution design, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of architecture from concept to implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Communicate and document architecture across application, integration, security, and infrastructure domains.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives, managing trade-offs and securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Present and obtain approval for designs from the Architecture Review Board.
- Support and mentor other solution architects to enhance architectural capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the architecture function.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years experience in solution / technology architecture space.
- Demonstrable experience with solution architecture development, key design decisions in a large enterprise environment preferably financial services industry.
- Experience facilitating workshops and building consensus around the overall solution design.
- Tertiary or equivalent qualification/s in relevant technical fields.
- Experience with formal architectural methods such as TOGAF.
- Experience with solution design in Insurance or Financial Services corporations
- Solution Architecture experience with Guidewire Claims/Policy Centre.
- Experience with SaaS, AWS or Google Platforms.
