Platform Engineer / SRE – Limelight People have been engaged to identify an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join one of the worlds leading SaaS businesses
Platform Engineer / SRE – You will have a strong background in software and / or systems engineering. Our clients systems are globally recognised as industry leading. You will be working on high performance, mission-critical, real-time engineering environments
Platform Engineer / SRE – You will have a number of core responsibilities across performance optimization, software releases, system maintenance, operation and automation across the environment. You will partner closely with the Software Development team, Systems Engineers, QA / Testers and the business, to continuously help deliver cutting edge software and infrastructure deployment updates, releases and continual platform improvements.
Platform Engineer / SRE – Key skills and experience:
- Coding, Debugging, Scripting
- Python, SQL and Linux shell scripting
- Linux Systems Administration experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- DESIRABLE – Ability to read and evaluate code
- DESIRABLE – Network Administration experience
- DESIRABLE – Experience working with Kubernetes
