About the Roles
We have ongoing locum opportunities in both inpatient and community settings. Caseloads may include acute/ subacute care, rehabilitation, aged care, and community services. Whether you’re seeking a short-term placement or a longer contract, we’ll work with you to find the right fit.
Key Details
- Locations: Multiple regional hospitals (details provided upon application)
- Contract Length: Typically 8-13 weeks, with potential for extension
- Start Dates: Flexible, with rolling starts available
- Employment Type: Locum contract via agency
- Rates: Competitive hourly rates with travel and accommodation support
Typical Duties
- Functional and mobility assessments with goal‑directed rehab planning
- Gait, balance, strength, conditioning, respiratory and falls‑prevention interventions
- Mobility aid prescription and home/environmental safety recommendations
- Education and self‑management support for chronic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
- Collaborative MDT practice and high‑quality clinical documentation
About You
- Degree-qualified Physiotherapist
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum one year of clinical experience (role-dependent)
- You do not need to be a perfect clinician – many clients are happy to hire people with clinical gaps and train them, even as a locum
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Full working rights in Australia (Working Holiday Visas welcome)
