Occupational Therapist – Community Aged Care (Hybrid)

Why aged-care?
If you’re currently working in NDIS and feeling the pressure around funding, admin and KPIs — this is a genuinely refreshing shift into a more structured, lower-pressure aged care model, while still having clinical impact and flexibility that comes with community work.
You’ll be joining a well-established provider with strong support, flexibility and a clear pathway to earn above your base through a realistic bonus structure.

What’s on offer

  • Community-based role with company car available for work use
  • Flexible working – plan your own schedule + option for WFH
  • Lower admin + no pressure around funding advocacy
  • Stable aged care caseload (HCP / Support at Home)
  • Bonus structure with potential to earn an additional $10k–$20k
  • Realistic KPI of 20 billables per week
  • Established business with a strong presence across multiple states

The role

  • Deliver community-based OT services to aged care clients
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop intervention plans
  • Complete assistive technology assessments and prescribe equipment
  • Conduct home modification assessments and reports
  • Work closely with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation

About you

  • General Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Ideally experience in NDIS, community or aged care (or keen to transition to  purely aged-care caseload)
  • Confident working autonomously in a community setting
  • Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
  • Full driver’s licence
  • Open to Working Holiday Visa (WHV) candidates
  • Sponsorship available for onshore candidates

Why people make the move
This is a popular transition for OTs coming from NDIS — offering more structure, less admin burden, and the ability to focus on clinical work while still maintaining flexibility and strong earning potential.
