AOD Clinician | Locum & Permanent Opportunities | Victoria

Looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact while working with a highly supportive multidisciplinary team?
We are currently partnering with a leading healthcare provider to recruit experienced AOD Clinicians across Victoria. These opportunities offer the chance to work with a complex client group, delivering evidence-based interventions focused on harm minimisation, behaviour change and long-term recovery.


Locum
• $61-$71 per hour + Super
• 4-6 week contracts
• Immediate starts available
• Potential for extension


Permanent
• $96,000-$100,000 + Super


Locations
• West Melbourne
• South West Melbourne / Barwon / Geelong


The Role
Working alongside psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals, you will support individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug challenges through assessment, education and therapeutic intervention.


Key Responsibilities
• Conduct AOD assessments and screening activities
• Facilitate individual and group-based interventions
• Deliver harm minimisation and relapse prevention programs
• Develop treatment plans and clinical documentation
• Support clients using person-centred and recovery-focused approaches
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

About You
• Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Nursing, AOD or a related discipline
• Previous experience within the AOD sector
• Experience facilitating groups and delivering psychoeducation
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience within forensic, justice, correctional or complex mental health settings
