Inner Perth | ASAP Start | Approx. 10 Week Contract + 6 week Potential Extension
$65 -$80 per hour + super

We are partnering with a well-established Mental Health service to recruit a Locum Occupational Therapist for an urgent leave cover opportunity within an Older Adult Mental Health inpatient team based in Inner Perth.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with Mental Health experience to step into a supportive hospital-based environment working alongside experienced clinicians within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Working within an inpatient Older Adult Mental Health setting, you will support consumers presenting with a range of complex Mental Health needs, contributing to assessment, intervention, discharge planning and recovery-focused care.Continue
The Role:
• Older Adult Mental Health inpatient caseload
• Hospital-based role located in Inner Perth
• Work collaboratively alongside allied health, nursing and medical teams
• Involvement in functional assessments, care planning and therapeutic interventions
• Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm
• ASAP start preferred
• Approx. 10 week leave cover contract with potential extension
Requirements:
• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous Mental Health experience required
• Inpatient or hospital experience highly regarded
• Strong communication and MDT collaboration skills
• Ability to commence at short notice advantageous
