Limelight People are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Midwife to join a maternity team in Bendigo, Victoria.
You will provide care across antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services, with a focus on Labour Ward practice. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will support safe, respectful, and individualised care for women, babies, and families.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based midwifery care in line with clinical guidelines
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women and newborns
- Provide direct Labour Ward clinical care
- Support informed decision-making for women and families
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support students and junior staff
- Contribute to quality improvement and patient care initiatives
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Experience in maternity or Labour Ward settings
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Commitment to woman-centred care and teamwork
Additional Requirements
- Compliance with staff health screening and immunisation policies (including required vaccinations)
- Commitment to workplace safety, professional conduct, and organisational policies
Desirable
- Experience in private hospital maternity services
- Experience mentoring students or junior staff
- Participation in quality improvement or clinical education initiatives
