To be successful as a RAN, you’ll need:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse (Unrestricted)
- Recent ED, ICU, primary health or urgent care experience
- Remote or rural experience highly desirable
- ALS / PALS
- REC and MEC
- Pharmacotherapeutics
- RIPERN or FLECC qualification highly desirable
- Postgraduate qualifications recommended (or working toward):
- Remote Health Practice
- Primary Health Care
- Midwifery (highly regarded but not essential)
- Confidence to work autonomously and respond to acute presentations in low-resource settings
