About the Role
This Dynamic and rapidly expanding business is looking to add a Practice Lead to lead one of their core consulting domains. This is a senior leadership role with accountability for practice performance, client outcomes, team leadership, and commercial success. You will have deep expertise in data and analytics, a strong consulting background, and a proven ability to grow and lead high-performing teams.

In this role:
- Own the practice’s P&L, overseeing metrics such as revenue, gross profit, utilisation, and billable rate targets.
- Develop and execute a practice growth strategy that aligns with One51’s strategic goals.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to shape service offerings, go-to-market strategies, and capability development.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants, fostering a culture of high performance and excellence.
- Lead the delivery of large-scale, high-impact data projects for key clients.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor on data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Consulting Services to ensure delivery aligns with the business strategy.
- Manage practice-level KPIs, including revenue, gross margin, utilisation, and billable rate.
- Create, maintain and grow the technical and consulting capabilities delivered by the practice.
- Lead the practice’s delivery across consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality technical outcomes and strong client relationships.
- Establish relationships with key technology partners, including Microsoft, Databricks, and other leading companies.
- Leverage partner programs for lead generation, co-marketing opportunities, training, and access to resources that enhance delivery and visibility.
- Act as a domain expert and thought leader, representing the market through events, content, and client engagements.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship and guidance to consultants.
About You
- 10+ years in data & analytics, with at least 5 years in a consulting leadership or delivery lead role.
- Deep expertise in modern data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and Power BI/Fabric.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience owning a P&L or practice performance metrics.
- Proven ability to lead delivery teams and scale consulting capabilities.
- Strong client engagement skills – you thrive in strategic conversations and executive level stakeholder management.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a collaborative, hands on leadership style.
- A natural people leader – able to inspire, coach, and lead a culturally diverse team.
