We are looking for a Trade Desk Support Specialist to provide customer support and production level operational oversight for a global trading business.
Along with providing technical support, you will be responsible for solving problems, completing regular health checks and monitoring systems, whilst working closely with stakeholders from global banks, vendors and brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in one or more areas critical to production operations support.
- Utilise SQL to conduct data mining against databases.
- Analysing market behaviours and trading events.
- Technical Customer Configuration (new participants)
- Running data queries and running reports
- Provide exchange platform support including equity listing process management; service cancel order requests; conduct clearly erroneous and obvious error trade reviews
- Contribute towards leading business improvement initiatives particularly product enhancements.
- Perform analytical functions to troubleshoot and explain complex technical and/or trading issues
- Liaison with onboarding, connectivity and trading issues with current and potential participants, market makers and vendors.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ Years in a technical support role position, preferably with knowledge around the Capital Markets/Trading Domain.
- Strong SQL experience including the ability to write SQL Queries
- Good understanding of FIX Protocol
- Advanced MS Excel
- Financial Markets (Trading)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
This is a Full Time opportunity based in Sydney. 2 days of work in the office based in the Sydney CBD is required – Permanent Residents or Australian Citizens only.
Interviews will be conducted over MS Teams.
