This a 12 month daily rate contract for a Solution Architect based in Sydney CBD.
Responsibilities:
- Lead solution design, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide end-to-end ownership of architecture from concept to implementation.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to align business needs with technical solutions.
- Communicate and document architecture across application, integration, security, and infrastructure domains.
- Ensure solutions meet business objectives, managing trade-offs and securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Present and obtain approval for designs from the Architecture Review Board.
- Support and mentor other solution architects to enhance architectural capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the architecture function.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- End-to-End Solution Architecture Experience
- Digital Transformation Experience
- Experience in a Large Scale Financial Services Organisation (Essential)
- Excellent Stakeholder Engagement skills – ability to engage with Business Stakeholders (Essential)
- Ability to Lead Design Workshops, explain concepts and ideas through High Level Solution Design
- Commercial Insurance Experience (Preferred)
- Experience in Large-Scale Agile Environment
- Experienced in Digital, Integration & Cloud Technologies
- Ability to Engage with Engineering Teams and do Technical Deep Dive
- Experience working on Guidewire (highly desirable)
- Understanding MDM technologies to leverage real-time services
- TOGAF Certified
- Excellent Communication skills,
This role involves 2 days per week in the Sydney CBD office
