General Manager – Services:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing our service delivery teams. This role ensures that we meet contractual obligations related to service and financial performance, maintain licensing and accreditation compliance, drive continuous improvement, manage human resources, and foster business growth through strategic partnerships and innovation.
Overseeing the following services, 5 direct reports (Portfolio Managers – Residential Care Manager, Foster Care Manager, Children, Youth & Families Manager, Housing & Homelessness Manager, Mental Health Manager)
You will support our team by:
- Providing leadership, direction, and inspiration to our service delivery portfolio managers to ensure safe, inclusive, and culturally appropriate services.
- Attracting and retaining enthusiastic staff through capacity-building and skill development.
You will support our communities by:
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Contributing to or preparing papers and submissions for government opportunities.
- Enhancing the client’s community profile by promoting our work and actively advocating for our communities.
You will support our work by:
- Staying current with best practices, sector reforms, and opportunities to position the client for maximum benefit.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, accreditation, and the clients risk framework while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and service excellence.
Professional requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in social or behavioural sciences, social work, or psychology (or related discipline).
- A minimum 5 years of relevant managerial level experience within community services and housing sectors.
Based in Queensland, Rockhampton.
The client is seeking someone who is local however would be happy to assist someone who would be looking to relocate.
Paying up to $140,000 per annum.
