Finance & Operations Manager – Health & Tech Recruitment – Part Time 3 Days

Limelight People are a fast paced and even faster growing recruitment business specialising in the IT and Healthcare sectors.
  
Working alongside a high performing, supportive and dynamic team, you will be responsible for the Financial & Operational functions of the business. Working closely with the founding directors, our leadership team, and with our accounting and bookkeeping partners, you will lead these functions with a clear mandate to drive improvements across financial and operational processes, reporting, forecasting and budgeting.

This role is a Permanent Part Time position, requiring 3 days per week, in a hybrid office & work from home capacity. 
  
When you’re not WFH, you will be working out of our Bond St location, a stones throw away from Wynyard Station, Australia Square and The Opera House!
  
Key responsibilities – Finance

  • Day-to-day accounts management, working with our bookkeeper (AP & AR transactions, bank reconciliations etc)
  • Financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Interpretation of historical financial data, providing business insight and strategy
  • Implementation of financial controls and close monitoring of performance to ensure strategic objectives are met
  • Close management of outstanding accounts receivable and debt recovery

 
Key responsibilities – Operations

  • Process and workflow improvement 
  • Drive operational improvements across key Operational Procedures and Processes.
  • Management of Industry Compliance and Licensing
  • Improved monthly collection processes and timeframes

 
We are looking for the following experience:  

  • Xero
  • MS Office 365
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel
  • Advanced skills in accounting and bookkeeping
  • 7+ years experience in an Operations / Finance management role.
  • Excellent business software skills and collaborative leadership approach.
  • A background working within the recruitment industry will be an advantage
  • Experience working with the SCHADS Award is well regarded
