We expect our suppliers to operate in\u00a0 accordance with all applicable modern slavery laws including those prohibiting human\u00a0 slavery and slavery like practices, human trafficking and child labour. We value and observe\u00a0 all laws regarding corporate social responsibility, environmental and workplace safety\u00a0 protection and staff inclusion and diversity. We have a whistle-blower policy and an external\u00a0 hotline for staff and suppliers to use.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We continue to set clear expectations that Limelight People employees and suppliers should\u00a0 be alert to possible involvement in modern slavery and should work to prevent and address\u00a0 it. We know that adopting high standards is not enough. Knowledge sharing, such as\u00a0 targeted training programmes for employees, and action, including mitigation measures\u00a0 where we see a risk of involvement, are vital to ensure our work stays relevant and effective.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We have in place a number of relevant policies, procedures and standards to assist us in\u00a0 protecting the human rights of staff and contingent workers, including in relation to human\u00a0 trafficking and slavery.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Particular steps we will undertake, include:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Developing training for staff in modern slavery requirements\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Reviewing supplier contracts to ensure they contain terms that are consistent with the\u00a0 Act\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Taking steps to address any potential modern slavery risks identified and setting up a\u00a0 program to measure effectiveness through performance monitoring\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>We seek to make positive and sustainable economic, social and environmental\u00a0 contributions wherever we operate\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a safe and inclusive working environment where we treat each other with\u00a0 respect\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Communicate responsibly and use technology appropriately<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;re all individually accountable for complying with the Code, and we call things out\u00a0 which don&#8217;t seem right\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>We act with honesty and integrity and don&#8217;t make or receive improper payments,\u00a0 benefits or gains\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Limelight People takes breaches of its Code and Limelight People policies seriously,\u00a0 investigates suspected failures to comply with the Code or Limelight People policies that it\u00a0 becomes aware of, and takes a timely and proportionate approach to implementing\u00a0 disciplinary or remedial action.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Limelight People is committed to maintaining a safe workplace that values equal opportunity,\u00a0 is free from discrimination, harassment and victimisation. Limelight People operates in a\u00a0 highly regulated environment and has robust policies and procedures concerning\u00a0 employment screening (including work eligibility checks), employment conditions and\u00a0 appropriate workplace behaviour. We work with\u00a0 suppliers who uphold fundamental human rights including:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul role=\"list\">\n<li>Ensuring all work is freely chosen; without the use of forced or compulsory labour\u00a0 \u2022 Ensuring all workers are of local legal age; and preventing the use of illegal child\u00a0 labour\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring fair remuneration and work conditions for all workers\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Promoting humane treatment and preventing harassment and unfair discrimination\u00a0 \u2022 Respecting workers&#8217; rights to lawfully and peacefully form or join trade unions of their\u00a0 choosing and to bargain collectively\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Respecting the privacy of employees and customers and complying with all laws in\u00a0 the collection, use and protection of personal information\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Information and Reporting\u00a0<\/h3>\n<p>We build trust by communicating openly and honestly. We work with suppliers who provide information that is timely, accurate and relevant including:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Maintaining accurate financial and business records, including invoicing, in accordance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and accepted accounting practices.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Reporting on economic, social and environmental performance to meet regulatory and\u00a0 contractual requirements.
