Senior Cloud Engineer – Limelight People have been engaged to identify an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to help integrate and modernise customer environments, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and its surrounding technologies.
Our client is a fast-growing, award-winning MSP with an outstanding reputation for customer success and service excellence. They deliver complex integration projects where your expertise will influence both pre-sales and delivery outcomes.
You’ll work on exciting new projects across a diverse range of customers and industries, contributing to complex deliverables where your expertise will influence both pre-sales and delivery outcomes.
Your Role
- Engage directly with customers to design and deliver end-to-end infrastructure and cloud projects
- Own pre- and post-sales solution design, scoping, PoCs, and project planning
- Deliver high-quality on-prem and cloud solution outcomes
- Lead the deployment of Azure AD, Azure IAM, Intune, Autopilot, and Office 365 environments
- Integrate and modernise environments as part of new business acquisitions or onboarding newly acquired clients
- Collaborate closely with experienced engineers and TAMs to produce best-in-class results
- Share knowledge with the Service Desk and mentor developing engineers
- Stay ahead of industry trends through partner events, internal training, and certifications
Requirements:
- Strong cloud capability across Azure AD Connect, Azure IAM, Office 365, Intune/MDM, and Autopilot
- Strong experience delivering infrastructure projects within an MSP or services environment
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, and virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Solid networking fundamentals — switching, routing, security
